About our Henley driving lessons;

Henley, like most towns gives the learner driver a range of roads to master, from narrow city streets and winding country lanes right up to faster major roads. This range of roads is essential to make sure you can drive in any traffic situation. As Henley does not currently have a driving test centre you will most likely take your test in Reading

Your driving lessons in Henley & the Henley area will reflect your experience so if you are a beginner, don’t panic, they will chose quiet roads to start you off, working up to all road types (except motorways of course) as you approach test standard.

When learning to drive in Henley, you’ll gain confidence from the fact that you will be taught by one of our highly experienced, licensed driving instructors who knows the area well. They will make sure you are ready for your test, particularly with regards to the types of roads you will need to know and will familiarise you with the area in which you will be taking your test. .

If you take your test in Reading the test will start in Elgar Road South and will then proceed to cover a variety of roads to meet the needs of the test. You may be familiar with some of these roads, but it does not matter if you have never driven on them before as, if you are truly ready for your test, you should be able to drive on any roads. If you pass you will be driving on routes you have never driven on, so a broad experience of different road types is essential for safe driving.
